Tax Claim Bureau

The Tax Claim Bureau is an important part of the Treasurer's Office, and residents can make payments in the form of cash or checks. Personal checks are accepted, but only up to 30 days prior to the tax sale. In order to ascertain the correct amount that is due, residents are encourage to call ahead of time to get an accurate amount.

Judicial Tax Sale Information

Judicial Sale of 3 properties will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 1:30 PM prevailing time.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS: Pursuant to provisions of Act 33 of 2021, bidders are required to register in-person at the Tax Claim Bureau starting August 6, 2026 and no later than close of business August 31, 2026. Cost of registration is $10.00. No registrations will be accepted after cut-off date. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Upset Tax Sale Information

Upset Sale of various properties will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026 at 10:30 AM prevailing time.

Hunting and Fishing Licenses

Hunting and fishing licenses can be purchased from the Treasurer's office, from an authorized issuing agent, or on the Internet at Pennsylvania's Hunt-Fish PA website. A list of issuing agents can be found on the Commonwealth of PA website.

Dog Licenses

Pennsylvania state law requires any dog three (8) weeks of age or older to have a current dog license. Dog licenses are valid from January 1st to December 31st of the year in which the license is purchased. You can find more information on the Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement Office website

To purchase a dog license online using a credit card, please visit http://www.padoglicense.com/.
If you wish to purchase a dog license using check or cash, please fill out, print, and sign an application for each dog; and then mail or hand deliver the application(s) and payment to the Treasurer's Office.
