Registering to Vote, Absentee Voting, and the Voter ID Law
In order to register to vote or to request an absentee ballot, a properly completed form must be submitted to the Voter Registration/Elections office. Forms may be obtained from the Voter Registration office or by going to VotesPA.com and printing out the appropriate form.
Pennsylvania voters will be asked (but not required) to show Photo ID at the upcoming election before voting. This procedure is designed to serve as a "dry run" prior to the full implementation of Voter ID in future elections. Information about types of ID that will be acceptable for voting purposes in the future or how to obtain an ID is available at VotesPA.com.
