November 4, 2014 General Election Dates (non-UMOVA Voters)
October 6Last day to REGISTER before the Election
October 28 Last day before the election on which official applications for civilian absentee ballots may be received (an Emergency Absentee Ballot request may be made after this date through 8:00 p.m. Election Day)
October 31 Last day to received voted civilian, non-emergency absentee ballots (by 5:00 p.m.)
November 7 Friday Canvass

Registering to Vote and Absentee Voting

In order to register to vote or to request an absentee ballot, a properly completed form must be submitted to the Voter Registration/Elections office. Forms may be obtained from the Voter Registration office or by going to VotesPA.com and printing out the appropriate form.

Petitions for County, Municipal, or Party offices may be picked up at the elections/voter registration office or will be mailed upon request. Petitions for state and federal offices may be obtained from the Department of State or from the Department of State website.
